SWEDISH MASSAGE

This is the most common and well-known therapeutic massage, and there is a reason why it is the best massage for total body relaxation. Targets and benefits of the Swedish Massage include pain management, stress relief, increased blood flow, rehabilitation for muscle injuries, increased flexibility, and improved immune system. (Recommended with Aroma Therapy for full body care)

DEEP TISSUE

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on the deeper layer of the muscles and connective tissues targeting and treating stiffness and chronic pain. When the body suffers from stiffness, tension, or sustained injury to their muscle, tendons and ligaments tend to knot and can block circulation, limiting movement. Deep Tissue Massage therapy applies more pressure, and therefore, can provide a successful and long-lasting result. (Recommended that you hydrate before deep tissue treatment)

SPORTS MASSAGE

This massage is designed to prepare the athlete for optimal performance, reduce fatigue, and relieve muscle swelling and tension. Due to overextension or overuse or muscles, minor injuries and lesions occur in these tissues that can cause a great deal of pain and poor athletic performance. Sports Massage bodywork helps alleviate pain and prevent such injuries that greatly affect flexibility, mobility, response time, and overall performance in athletic events. (Recommended every two weeks, especially if continuous training or competing)

TABLE THAI MASSAGE

This is an ancient healing massage that incorporates acupressure, compressions, reflexology and assisted with yoga like stretches. Thai Massage relieves pain and releases muscle tension, increases mental and physical energy levels, improves posture and alignment, and helps with lymphatic drainage and blood circulation. (Recommended for people who suffer from migraines, neck/shoulder issues, digestive problems, restricted joint movement, and/or lower back sciatica problems)

TRIGGER POINT

Trigger Point is a very detailed massage treatment focusing on tight bands of muscles that feel knotted. It is a more direct approach and proven method for eliminating chronic pain on your back, neck, erector spine and other locations. The benefits of Trigger Point therapy include strength and stamina enhancement, muscle recovery, boosts collagen production, strengthens bone tissue, and increases the production of hormones that repair injuries and regenerates tissue. (With this Trigger Point technique targeting specific areas, clients are often happily surprised that they experience pain relief in other areas as well that were not specifically targeted during their treatment session)

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES (ART)

This modality of massage treats your body’s soft tissue by combining manipulation and mobilization techniques. Active Release Techniques (ART) help with strain injuries, cumulative trauma injuries and constant pressure tension lesions. It treats headaches, back pains, plantar fasciitis and knee problems, overuse of muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. ART aids in speeding up recovery from injuries. (Recommended that this treatment be integrated with other modalities)
